I have to admit. This was a great performance. I choked up and laughed at the same time when Amir tried to do the high pitched voice for the "last time". My theory is this arc is actually Amir's nightmare he has yet to wake up from and when he does he'll act "normal" around Jake for a while in fear of Jake leaving. I'm guessing Amir will be back to his old self by the end of the story and it'll go on from there. The twist? Amir's been sick in bed while dreaming this hence the name "Sick Day"...or that's what I'm telling myself until its confirmed the series is over or the next episode comes out. BTW? My opinion is Jake's character is leaving, not Jake himself (It'd definitely be on someone's blog by now.)so I'm not freaking out about CH, but I'd still be really sad if this series ended.

Unfortunately it is. I have a friend that knows Sarah on the show and she said it is true. He is leaving. Something about Ricky and him couldn't reach a salary agreement, which I think means he was asking for more because he's such a big part of the show and Ricky wouldn't do it. Learn to not copy and paste from a previous comment. At least have the decency to link the source. Besides the plagiarism and unfounded claim, I doubt Jake is leaving, because with the website and now TV show, all of that is giving HUGE exposure and visibility to all the collegehumor.com staff, which in turn means more contracts, venues to pursue, etc. Until someone can link the source/proof of the official statement, I'll be waiting for the next J&A episode.

But what if all those dates everybody talks about were set up earlier and now he got a better job offer or maybe did have an argument about salaries or what ever but he still decided to at least play the gigs and episodes that have already been set up out of loyalty or integrity or something? That's what's kinda worrying me... :( Damn I hope he's not leaving! Wow, I am too attached to this series. I actually cried a little. Great acting on both parts.
It's a great turn in the J&A storyline. Would be awesome to see Jake performing poorly at his new job because he has gained too many of Amir's idiosyncrasies. And then they could lie to each other on the phone saying that they are both alright, when they both are very upset.

If Jake isn't really leaving, then the "Jake and Amir" series would at least have to be over. You can't just ignore the emotion in this episode; it contradicts the whole premise of all the other "Jake and Amir" videos.

You can't just have a video like this one where we really see the extent of their relationship, and then go back to Amir being an idiot and Jake brushing him aside like it's nothing.

But that's just a thought.

Yeah I had that thought, too. I definitely don't think Jake is leaving CH for real... that would be pretty silly when they're getting so much exposure right now. It just seems like if they wanted to put an end to the J&A series, this would be a good way to do it since I don't really see how things can go back to normal after this ep.

Jake and Amir are performing at the College Humor Live Show next Thursday. I highly doubt he is moving to CA. He is really just getting started here, as part of an ensemble cast. Of all the writers/actors at CH, I don't think he's the strongest (and I don't mean that in an insulting way; I'm just trying to explain my point), so I doubt there are bigger and better offers coming his way just yet. remember the ace adn jocelyn and hallie episode combined? Jake was like totally jealous of Hallie. He definetly missed the old Amir. I mean, ya, he was jealous of Amir 2, cuz Hallie ws his old gf, bt I think it was the old Amir that he missed most. Jake can't leave Amir. He just can't. He wouldn't be able to survive.
